Do you bring your bf/gf home?
Just wondering if you people will bring your respective bf/gf home to let parents see.
And how long after your relationship with your partner starts before you bring them home?
(Or how long do you think you will bring them home after the r/s starts?)

Re: Do you bring your bf/gf home?
Yeah I totally agree with Chin. It varies from couple to couple on when is the appropriate time to bring bf / gf home to see parents. There is no standard answer to this question, except on the fact that both parties must already be ready to commit long term, prepared to be scrutinized by the parents and communicate with the partner's family.chin261 wrote:hm. is ok to bring bf / gf home as long as both parties think they are ready to let their parents know abt it. time is nt impt is the couple mind set whether is time for them to c parents or nt~
Re: Do you bring your bf/gf home?
Personally, i would want my parents to 'review' the guy first, cos I do not want to be in a long relationship and ended up i can't cross my parents 'hurdle' ...
Re: Do you bring your bf/gf home?
Yea.. It's really awkward to be caught in between. My family is very important to me and i tend to take their views seriously. hahas

Re: Do you bring your bf/gf home?
All in all, if parents say no, there must be some reason in it.
Besides, the salt they eat is more than the rice i have taken in my 21 years of life. I trust them.

Re: Do you bring your bf/gf home?
At least my mum got 35 years = 420 mths more to eat salt as compared to my rice.
My dad - $33 years = 396 mths.
And how do you know i am a big eater? I could be eating very little rice or only noodles you know?
