LOL... both triangles have the same area.

Hint: Look up on the calculations of areas of triangles (1/2*base*perpendicular height, Pythagoras Theorem)

too many zero.. i minus them out

the 3,4,5 triangle area = 0.5 x 3 x 4 (right angle triangle)

the 3,4,7 triangle area = 0 (no matter what I formula i use also 0, so maybe it doesnt exist)

Should be 1 is the correct answer.

Cos L x B X H so if 1st one use 300 x 400 2nd one also 300 x 400 so 2nd one cannot form a triangle?

I also not too confident.

if really by 300, 400 and 700, the 300 and 400 wont even meet.. It will form a straight line.. Right?

2nd 1 can form triangle. But if 2nd 1 is used to form a right-angled triangle the 200 units for the 3rd side will be redundant.. if it's used, then it becomes and obtuse triangle.

So the critical part to the answer is: what is the angle between the 300 & 400 sides to form a triangle with the 700 side.
